We are happy to welcome Jessica Parker to the Dankmeyer Team! Jessica is a Resident Prosthetist Orthotist who joined us this past August. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, she earned her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from UNC Asheville and her MS in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Pittsburgh.
Jessica’s passion for O&P stems from her desire to help others and her interest in rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care. She values a collaborative approach to patient care and believes in working alongside patients and other healthcare professionals to help individuals regain independence, build confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
As a former athlete who has participated in basketball, shot put, rugby, and CrossFit, she is particularly interested in the role prosthetics can play in helping individuals return to sports and recreational activities. Her long-term goal is to specialize in sports prostheses.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and guinea pigs and watching football.
