The Children’s League in Cumberland, MD will be hosting their 17th Annual Kid Walk / Kid Talk Event on 9/21/2019. The Kid Walk / Kid Talk is a family friendly event that encourages teams to obtain business and individual sponsors for the walk. One the day of the walk, participants, families, and volunteers enjoy the festivities. In addition to the walk, prizes will be given out, there will be face painting, balloon art, and snacks. The Tri State Zoo and the Chik-Fil-A cow will be in attendance as well. Event check is begins at 9:30 am and the walk will start at 10:00 am
The Mission of the Children’s League is to “provide free, professional evaluations concerning the orthopedic, orofacial, cerebral palsy, brace, speech/language and physical therapy needs of our children and to assist each child in meeting his/her full potential and their ultimate level of independence.”
