Todd Schaffhauser and Dennis Oehler, along with the staff of UMROI and Dankmeyer, will be presenting a professional course, Advanced Gait Training For Persons With Amputations. This course is aimed toward Physical Therapists and other Rehab professionals who work with those who have experienced limb loss. Couse Objectives include: teach fitness modifications, perform appropriate stretches and exercises to increase flexibility and strength, educate patients on resources.

Check-in starts at 1:30 pm and the lecture portion concludes around 4:45 pm. After a short break, the real fun begins when Amputee Walking School kicks off at 5:00 pm!

This course has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 0.5 CEUs.
