The University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute hosted a one-day festival on 9/6/2014 to build awareness about the benefits and availability of adapted sports participation.  Dankmeyer was represented by clinical staff Jed Newhardt and Theresa Funk, who manned an informational booth. Trauma Survivors Network volunteers at Walking School

Nancy Lee, a Dankmeyer employee, is also a member of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Trauma Survivors Network (TSN).  The TSN participated in the Amputee Walking Clinic as volunteers, offering both physical and moral support to amputees as they practiced new techniques.  If you have survived a traumatic injury and are interested in connecting with other survivors as you rebuild your life after a serious injury, visit their website.

Charles Dankmeyer present at Bill Signing

Charles Dankmeyer (second from right, top) at the Bill Signing Ceremony to remove Orthotics and Prosthetics from regulation by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy. Charles was instrumental in the passage of this bill, which is significant to all practitioners and P&O patients in the state of Maryland.
