Join us for an afternoon of competition and inspiration at the McCourt Global Amputee Soccer Invitational! The inaugural McCourt Global Amputee Soccer Invitational comes to Georgetown University's Shaw Field on Sunday, April 19—bringing elite international amputee soccer to Washington, D.C. for the first time. Iconic French club Olympique de Marseille—the first in Ligue 1 to field an official amputee team—travels from the south of France to take on three American sides, including players from the U.S. Men's National Amputee Soccer Team program, the Colorado Rapids, and Arena Football Club, in a full afternoon of 7v7 competition. Fast, intense, physical, and extraordinary to watch, amputee soccer will surprise you. Come see it for yourself—we would love local individuals to come out and support/cheer on the teams!
Event is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.
